About

What is FAS ?

Our group is a not-for-profit charitable organisation (Charity No : 1067974) and in 2024 we celebrated 30 years of supporting local artists and creative people within Fishguard Arts Society.

How are things done ?

We believe in an open process where any member can choose to help create opportunities for others.

We have a steering group (all who volunteer their time and skills) with key roles as expected by the charity commission : along with our trustees we have a Chair (Di Kalvik), Treasurer (Tim Young) & our Membership Secretary (Anne Layzell) & we hold an annual AGM to review the previous year / accounts.

How to take part ?

We encourage our members to take part via our bi-annual magazine, emails and socials.

Members benefit from preferential exhibition fees.
