Dilys Jackson MRSS, ARCA

My work derives from my interest in plant and land forms, in their processes and in their kinaesthetic relationship to the human body. I use a variety of materials such as bronze, steel, wood, stone, iron and paper and a variety of processes such as carving, casting, printing and digital imaging.

I live in Cardiff and work at the Butetown Artists’ Studios. I have travelled and worked in Europe, Australia, America and the Middle East and have exhibited in Europe, America and Russia. I have undertaken various commissions and residencies such as the Sight Garden, Stackpole Dyfed, the Copper Mill Millennium Sculpture in Greenfield Valley Flint, the Spiked Pollen Form Llandough Hospital, a Leighton Studios Fellowship at Banff, Canada and US/UK Cast Iron Residencies in Wales and the US. I have work in the collections of The National Museum and Gallery of Wales, The National Library of Wales, New Hall Collection Edward Murray College, Cambridge, The University of South Wales, Llantarnam Grange Arts Centre, Franconia Sculpture Park, MN USA, Salem Art Works Sculpture Park, NY, USA.
