It was during the lockdown of 2020 that I decided to pick up a paintbrush again and haven’t been able to put one down since!  It seems I am making up for a 50 year absence and I’m loving every minute of it. The journey is primarily self-taught but is so exciting as I am beginning to (at last!) feel my way to some expression into my work and something is happening more intuitively – that brings me great joy. I’m not ambitious to sell paintings but was so excited to sell my first landscape work at the 2025 Tregwynt Manor Summer Exhibition (displayed below of Fishguard Lower Town). My more recent work has involved sheep which I seem to be developing a bit of a heart for. For the future, who knows where it all might lead… but in the meantime I would encourage anybody to have a go, we all have it in us!
