Art has been my therapy, has stopped me from going potty and given me an outlet to express myself when all around seemed hopeless.

I didn’t start painting until I had to retire early from teaching Chemistry due to ill-health a few years ago. Then I picked up a brush and started painting watercolours. I think I must have read every copy of ‘How to paint with Watercolours’ and watched every YouTube video available.

I had always intended to start painting when I retired anyway. Being born and bed in the county of Pembrokeshire, it is no wonder that I paint the flor and fauna I see around me. Whether it is of a beautiful bay, such as Cam yr Eglwys or of the breathtaking scenery from Newport and beyond, The Preseli mountains or simply some plants win an autumn hedgerow, the beauty of Pembrokeshire is breathtaking.
