
FAS welcomes members to exhibit as part of the Fishguards Arts Festival – the theme is ‘The watery part of the world’ – this is the opening line of Moby Dick.
On Land’s Edge/Ar Ymyl y Tir 2026
This year’s festival has a whale theme, celebrating 70 years since the release of the classic film Moby Dick, much of which was filmed in Fishguard and Goodwick. As part of the celebrations, with the support of the National Lottery Heritage Fund this funded exhibition will respresent the wealth of artistic talent and passions of our members.
This exhibition has a fee of £5 to enter which is to fund the launch event.
Please note that your stewarding commitment is key to the success of this exhibition and it is a requirement of application. You may nominate someone else to do this in your place.
Up to two original works can be entered into the exhibition with an additional 2 mounted/priced pieces to be included in the society’s browsers.
We will exhibiting at Bakers@0 gallery (70 West Street, Fishguard SA65 9NL) again for two weeks.
If you are a 3D artist, to ensure that we can exhibit you appropriately, please contact us before applying.
All work must be for sale & FAS reserve the right not to exhibit some entries, please contact us if you would like to know why this rare event may happen.
If your work sells, there will be a commission fee of 25% which FAS will retain to help fund future workshops.
We will email you the details of the launch event once arranged.

7th September : deadline for application, please note no further changes or additions can be made past this date.
20th September 10-11pm handing in of labelled work and sign up for your stewarding
21st September – 4th Oct : exhibition
4th October 4-5pm: collection of any unsold work
